In progress Windows Vista

Post by Navicat on Sat May 16, 2009 3:28 pm

So I'm installing Windows Vista Black Edition 2009, which is an underground Vista package, comes with all sorts of neat stuff.

Including "complete virus protection for 5 years"

Anywho, when I upgraded it said that some of my programs will not work.
Any idea which ones?

Turns out it trashed my computer.
So I had to reinstall XP Pro SP3

So, I'm back up to par now.

Lol well that Black Edition just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen :-D I haven't had a lot of compatibility issues with Vista, though. That's probably because I mostly just use the Internet.

I figured out why it destroyed my computer.

I tried installing it from an EHD and not a disc.

So when the computer rebooted during the install it trashed everything on it.
